Insurance
We are “out-of-network” providers, meaning that we do not directly accept any forms of insurance.
However, we will provide you with detailed Superbills including all the necessary information if you choose to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Insurance benefits have increasingly become quite complex and there is a great deal of variability in coverage and reimbursement policies. Please consult directly with your insurance company regarding your family’s mental health coverage. If you need any help understanding the information that you have received from your insurance provider, don’t hesitate to be in touch.
Questions to ask your insurance company about your mental health benefits:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I need to meet a deductible each year before I can begin to receive reimbursement for sessions?
What amount will I be reimbursed for the following services with a licensed psychologist and do I have a session limit?
CPT Code 90791 (initial intake) at a fee of $360
CPT Code 90834 (individual 45-minute therapy session) at a fee of $180
For psychological Assessment, the following codes/charges are used:
CPT Codes 96136 & 96137 (psychological testing), 96130 & 96131 (test administration and scoring)
Is preauthorization required and if so, what documentation is necessary? Does my provider need to fill out a specific form?
